The client has been receiving communications from their Homeowners Association (HOA) regarding the condition of their home. The HOA has expressed concerns about the poor appearance of the property, prompting the client to seek professional services. By addressing the issues to the home, the client aims to enhance the aesthetic appeal of their home, maintain compliance with HOA standards, and protect the property’s value. Ultimately, engaging Good Shepherd Roofing LLC will provide the necessary expertise to resolve these concerns efficiently and effectively.

The issue has been getting worse over the past year due to drastic weather changes.

Client was a little worried about matching colors to HOA speculations. She stated this was a timely manner and wanted to make sure we took care of it quick.

Assessment and Recommendations

The shingles on the roof are Atlas chalet which are discontinued. We also noticed chipping paint and rotten trim.

We suggested a full roof replacement due to the age and damage of shingles followed by replacing and painting all of the rotten trim. The deck is not repairable so we need to remove and replace with a new one using pressure treated wood.

Chosen Solution

We used GAF Timberline HDZ shingles on the roof. For the trim around the house we used Natural Choice. For the metal over bay window and small metal strips are caviar. For the siding we used Hulett Ore, all paint is from Sherwin Williams.

She loved the idea of changing the look of her home. She had a vision from the start, and we helped her see it through.

Project Details

Painting the exterior of home took two days due to having to remove, replace, and paint most of the trim around the house. The challenging part of this project was factoring in weather conditions such as temperature changes and rain.

Results and Benefits

The results of this project brought the home back to life from top to bottom by making it look like new again. Regular maintenance can help in protecting the integrity of your home. Since the previous deck was unusable the new deck will be able to be enjoyed for many years to come.
